“This was supposed to be a story of how Chinese parents are better at raising kids than Western ones. But instead, it’s about a bitter clash of cultures, a fleeting taste of glory, and how I was humbled by a thirteen-year-old.” Utterly captivating and terrifying, this book is sure to strike a chord within the hearts of all aspiring Asian mothers.

Crazy Rich Asians: Film Review
On the surface, this movie just appears to be dizzying, flamboyant and hilarious. However, upon closer examination, this movie really has a lot more substance to it - touching on race, family, wealth and cultural tensions, things that all of us (even if we aren’t crazy, rich or asian) can identify with. This movie paves the way for important, vital and culturally relevant conversations to be had. (If you have the patience or are curious about these issues, go read the books really)
