Restaurant Series: Honey Salt Happy Hour

Pairing classic comfort with a carefree elegance, Honey Salt happy hour delivers a contemporary and modern sumptuous experience in accessible and beautiful furnishings. When we had the opportunity to visit at around 3:30pm on Saturday, the modern surroundings were accentuated with festive decorations and lightings. If you arrive earlier, I think you can make reservations beforehand to ensure there are seats for the entire party. Furthermore, the option of sitting in the lounge or by the bar or high tea area was wonderful so you can enjoy different settings. We opted for the lounge with the comfiest of couches and beautiful decorative mirrors by the wall.

I was enamoured by the chic ambience of this place. I won’t go into too much detail about the food itself as I don’t have the most refined palate - however, my friends thought that the food was good and pleasing, especially for the reasonable price. Please note that Happy Hour food is only served from Mondays-Fridays. When we were there, we could opt from the regular menu and the Happy Hour drinks menu. Below are pictures of the food and drinks for your culinary pleasure.

Mac and cheese - 3 cheese cavitappi, roasted peppers, kale. This was extremely rich and sinful, and I had to “take breaks” in between portions to be able to finish the entire portion. Definitely more filling than it seems.

Kennebec fries - their classic. These were crisp and tasty.

Crispy brussel sprouts - another classic of theirs, containing malt vinegar & parmesan. I found these tasty but rather greasy.

We definitely had a really enjoyable experience fulfilling our various senses as the ambience was the perfect setting to the food mentioned above. I will have to come back to try the Society Chocolate & Banana Cake which seems to be a huge Instagram obsession.
