Distance: Approximately 30km
Difficulty Level: Easy with minimal elevation 68m
Estimated Cycling Time: 2.5h (with many scenic photostops)
Tip: Besides just printing and referring to the map while cycling the trail: https://www.letsgobiking.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/49-RIDGE-MEADOWS-CIRCLE-2019-03-01-blog.pdf, you can also use Google Maps as directions on the trail are not very apparent in some areas, and you may go off the proper trail in certain areas.
This was a stunning trail located both in Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge. On the day we went, it was very tranquil and peaceful, as we passed by other cyclists.
The full circle is mostly on dyke trails and quiet shared roads. You’ll see cranberry fields, three rivers, an airport, pumpkin patches; and might spot eagles, herons, and horses along the way. You will even pass by several residential communities.
A nice midpoint for a break or picnic would be at the following location: Emmeline Mohun Park
Overall, I thought the entire ride was very calming and serene, and the scenery was truly awe-inspiring. Prepare for sore legs after, but as they all say, enjoy the ride ;)
