The Glowbal Group restaurant is the latest crown jewel that lines the collection of restaurants which Proprietors Emad Yacoub and Shannon Bosa Yacoub own. It's bigger and better than ever. The new flagship restaurant is located in downtown Vancouver’s TELUS Garden. Its facade is impressive and bold, and the interior of the restaurant definitely does not disappoint either.
Luxurious yet laidback, the space is gorgeous. Its design with soaring ceilings and a mezzanine will dazzle you.
Diners looking to enjoy the outdoor ambience can snag their own cosy human-sized bird cage booth on the 150-seat patio, an expansive space framed by the dramatic wood-and-glass awning, bordered by a row of fireplaces for that adds a fancy flourish of warmth.
A fun feature that the restaurant offers is offering sample sizes of rotating items for guests to try. When we were there, our party of 5 were able to enjoy a breakfast smoothie and delicious fried donuts.
I tried the Florentine Benny's and was really surprised by how smooth and silky it was. Also, the hashbrowns and salad complemented the richness of the bennie's. My friends all agreed that the meal, in particular the $10 brunch range, was fantastic value for money.
Service was also prompt, friendly and efficient, and I would highly recommend visiting it for a social gathering of food & fun. You can make reservations online easily here. I have tried their Cocktail Hour previously, and I feel that service has improved since then when they were first starting out and ironing out the kinks of their operations. I recall my tastebuds being tantalised by the range of dishes.
